Musician’s Friend has the Ultrasone HFI-450 S-Logic Surround Headphones Black for $49.99. Shipping is free on orders totaling more than $99. That matches the best price I’ve seen on this model. I have a similar model (the HFI550 – now discontinued) and have been very pleased with the sound and build quality.

RMC Audio Direct has the Ultrasone HFI-2400 S-Logic Headphones for $246.75 with free shipping and handling (after coupon code “PHONES”). That’s at least $40 below the next best price available. This model is near the top of Ultrasone’s line of open-back headphones. Check out the review at technewsHW to see what they had to say about sound quality and comfort (they gave it “highly recommended” status).

RMC Audio Direct has the Ultrasone PRO 900 S-Logic Surround Sound Professional Headphones – Black for $411.75 with free shipping and handling (with coupon “PHONES”). That’s $40 below my last mention of this product (in mid-March) and at least $88 below the next best price available. These are Ultrasone’s top of the line studio monitors — they have received great reviews from a number of sources, including techPowerUp, Pro Audio Review, Gadget Review, Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity, and UltimateAVmag.com.

Musician’s Friend has the Ultrasone PRO 650 Surround Sound Stereo Headphones for $99 with free shipping and handling. That’s $200 under MSRP and the lowest price I could find by at least $130. There’s a nice four page review at TheTechLounge. From the author’s conclusion: “There’s no question that Ultrasone has created one incredible pair of headphones with the PROline 650. For anyone that’s in the market for headphones that could be the last pair you’ll ever want or need, the 650 would be a very solid choice.” I have the step-down 550 model and think they’re great.

RMC Audio Direct has the Ultrasone Edition 8 Ruthenium Headphones for $1,124.25 with free shipping and handling (with coupon “PHONES”). Although still an exorbitant amount for a pair of headphones, that’s $375 less than available anywhere else. As you would hope for a pair of headphones costing this much, they have received excellent reviews from AVguide, Cnet, and Engadget (among others).

RMC Audio Direct has the Ultrasone HFI-550 Headphones (rebranded as Alienware Ozma 5) for $74.25 plus shipping (actual ground rates starting around $5) (with coupon “PHONES”) Ultrasone stills sells this model for $189.00. While not anywhere near the blowout price available at Overstock earlier this year (they got as low as $35 before selling out), this is still an excellent price for these headphones. These have a nominal impdence of 64 ohms and are a closed back design. Cnet rates the HFI-550 highly. I own a pair of these myself (the same Alienware rebranded version) and can report that they are very solidly built, the ear pads are very soft, and they offer good sound isolation. Bass is strong, but it is clear throughout all ranges. The headband took a little getting used to (it has a small pad in the middle instead of being spread across the entire width of the band). These have become my wife’s favorite headphones and are my primary night time listensing set.

ULTRASONE iCans-Naos, S-Logic Surround Sound Professional Headphones for $51.36 with free shipping and handling (for black/black chrome model only). That’s over $78 below list price, and the lowest price available from a reputable retailer by at least $10. Check out the review from Cnet for more information (and remember these were selling for $129 at the time of the review). I have a pair of the larger Ultrasones, and have been very pleased with the build quality and sound of this brand.
