Newegg has the Sennheiser CX300-B Earbuds (Black) for $17.99 plus $1.99 shipping and handling (with coupon “HEADPHONE727A”). That’s the lowest price I’ve seen on these in the last couple months. I’ve had a pair for a few years, and despite trying other in-ear headphones, I keep returning to these (they are the most comfortable ones I’ve found for my ears). They get good marks in the review from Cnet. If you’re still using the stock ear-buds that came with your MP3 player, you’ll find these to be a nice upgrade.

J&R Music World has the Sennheiser IE6 Ear-Canal Headphones for $99.99 with free shipping and handling. That’s $60 off MSRP and the lowest price I’ve seen by $7. There’s a good review at TechPowerUp which describes these well.

SuperBiiz has the Sennheiser HD280 Professional Headphone (Black) (in black) in stock for $66.29 with free shipping and handling (after coupon “SUNSHINE15″) (coupon expires 7/11). That’s the lowest price I’ve seen this year. These are normally sell for around $99 from reputable retailers. Cnet (and others) rate these highly.

Amazon has the Sennheiser SET830-S Stereo Sound Amplifier for $82.60 with free shipping and handling (a drop of $13 from two weeks ago). I couldn’t find it elsewhere for less than $179 (it retails for $329). This is essentially an infrared (IR) transmitter and receiver which allows you to use any pair of headphones to listen to TV (or any other audio source) wirelessly (within line of sight of the transmitter). Although it includes an induction loop for use with hearing aids, it does not need to be used — any headphones with a standard 3.5mm stereo plug will work. This technology is employed in the better sounding wireless headphones (it avoids the possible interference/static problems of RF wireless systems), and given the specs of this unit (see the Sennheiser website), it should pair nicely with your own headphones (assuming they are of decent quality).

SuperBiiz.com has the Sennheiser HD-555 Audiophile Headphones for $84.99 with free shipping and handling (after coupon “GRAD15″) (coupon expires 6/8). That matches a similar deal which expired 5/2/10. Cnet rates these highly.

J&R Music World has dropped their price on the Sennheiser HD-515 Audiophile 500 Series Headphones to $59 plus $2.95 for shipping and handling. Even with shipping, that’s the lowest price I’ve seen from a reputable vendor. This is Sennheiser’s entry-level “audiophile” headphone. The next model up is the HD555, which has gone as low as $89 elsewhere. Check out the review at cnet for more information on this model.

NewEgg.com has the Sennheiser HD202 Headphones for $19.99 with free shipping and handling. I have a pair of these and think they are a good entry into the world of closed headphones, at a price that won’t cause major buyer’s remorse if you end up not wearing them all the time.

Amazon has the Sennheiser IE 8 Premium Audiophile Noise Isolating Headphone for $286.82 with free shipping and handling. That’s significantly below the $399 being charged by most of the reputable retailers. These are somewhat unique in that bass can be adjusted by the user with a small supplied screwdriver. These in-ear headphones received 5 stars in the review from What Hi Fi? and another 5 star review from TechRadar.com. Customer reviews at Amazon are also excellent.

Amazon.com has the Sennheiser HD650 Open-Air Dynamic Audiophile Headphone for $351.46 with free shipping and handling. That’s the best price I’ve seen from an acceptable retailer in a while, and significantly below the $499 being charge by most of the major vendors. Check out the reviews from onheadphones, avguide, audio video revolution, or onhifi.com for more information (all reviews are favorable). These are consistently listed among the best headphones available at any price.

SuperBiiz has the Sennheiser HD 555 Audiophile Headphones for $82.99 with free shipping and handling (after coupon code “APPLE0215″). That’s the lowest price available by at least $15, and the best price I’ve ever seen on these highly regarded headphones. Check out the review at Cnet for more information. You can also read the Amazon Customer Reviews to see how users have rated these (4.5 stars).

Amazon.com has the Sennheiser HD 202 Headphones for a current low price of $21.79. Shipping is free on orders over $25. This is the lowest price I’ve seen in at least a month on these. Around the holidays they could be found for $19.99. I have a pair of these and like them (for $20 headphones). Closed back design blocks out some outside noise, and prevents others near you from hearing your music. If you have a big head (literally), you might want to pass — the headband can be a little tight (though it does loosen up over time).
