That’s matches a deal from late May, and is the best price for a new, sealed-box unit from a reputable retailer by almost $200. Marantz has a great reputation for building quality audio electronics, and this unit received a nice review from Audioholics. This model has a slimmer form factor than other Marantz products (which somewhat limits the number of connections available on the back), taking up far lack rack space.
$399.00 is the new MSRP for the NR1501 in anticipation of the NR1601 which will have an MSRP of $599.00
