Outlaw Audio (via Amazon) is the only place (other than direct from Outlaw Audio’s web site) that you can buy the Outlaw Audio RR2150 Stereo Receiver. While it’s not discounted per se, it offers a tremendous amount of value at its price of $699 plus $40.49 shipping and handling, and I felt it deserved a mention among the “bargains” I usually try to feature on this site (though one way to take a bite out of the price is to trade in your spare change for an Amazon gift certificate — you can get them from select Coinstar machines and there is no counting fee when converting change to gift certificates). This receiver has a high-end phono input which can handle moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, a subwoofer output with selectable analog bass management, a front panel mini-jack for connecting MP3 players, and a USB input for direct connection to your PC. It also provides enough clean power to drive almost any speaker. Take a look at the reviews from Stereophile, GoodSound, Enjoy the Music, and HomeTheaterReview.com (you’ll note that the price has risen since the older reviews). It is almost an understatement to say that the reviews are glowing. The one customer review at Amazon (five stars) also takes the cake for best caption/title.
