AT&T is offering a number of refurbished iPhones starting at $49 for 3G models and $99 for 3GS models. With the introduction of the new iPhone 4, it’s a good time to pick up the prior model at a fairly significant discount. Prices on non-refurbished models have been cut as well.

The review from cnet lauded this model as a “superb choice for audiophiles.”  Newegg.com has the prior generation SanDisk Sansa Clip 1.0″ Black 8GB MP3 Player (refurbished) for $34.99 with free shipping and handling. That’s more than $20 below the best price available for a new, sealed box unit, and the best price I’ve seen for a refurbished unit. Like the current generation model, this version also received an excellent review from Cnet.  Creative Labs (via Amazon) has the Creative ZEN X-Fi – Digital player / radio – flash 8 GB – WMA, AAC, MP3 – video playback – display: 2.5  Amazon.com has the Apple iPod nano 16 GB (5th Generation) NEWEST MODEL  Amazon has continued to lower its prices on all models of the iPod Touch and the Zune HD (other vendors may follow suit — if so, you may be able to select a lower price by choosing a different seller on the right hand side of the screen). Only the red version is available at this price. cnet gave it 3 1/2 stars in this review. Highlights are its excellent sound quality, good battery life and built in speakers.  Dell Small Business has the 120GB Zune MP3 Player – with Home A/V Pack Bundle, in either basic black or in the special Gears of War Edition for $209.99 with free shipping and handling (search for “Zune Bundle” after clicking the link — both will come up in the results). Sales tax is charged, but express shipping may be available for free (it appeared to be when I went to checkout). These are easily the lowest prices available for the MP3 Players alone (by anywhere from $20 for the black edition to $70 for the “Gears of War” edition) The Home A/V Pack can be found for around $25 shipped, effectively resulting in discounts on these bundles of $45 to $95). The A/V Pack includes a wireless remote and a dock to connect your Zune to your stereo or home theater system. The real benefit of a unit like this is that it has the capacity to store extremely high quality digital files (it provides almost 4 times the storage of the highest capacity Zune HD). It also has Wi-Fi connectivity, and the ability to use music subscription services. Check out the Cnet review of the Zune for more information on its features. This bargain is supposedly set to end on March 4.  Newegg.com the the ARCHOS 5 4.8″ 120GB MP3 / MP4 Player (Recertified) for $169.99 with free shipping and handling. I couldn’t find it elsewhere for less than $300. This is not the new version which runs Android, but it is still a very capable media player with wi-fi connectivity. Check out cnet’s review for more info. UPDATED 2/28/10  Buy.com has the SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player 1GB, Black – Recertified for a low $14.99. I’ve mentioned the Sansa Clip before as an MP3 player than gets high marks for sound quality. At this price, it’s a cheap spare for the gym (one you won’t freak out over if it gets stolen or destroyed).
